KNX is an acronym that identifies KONNEX and represents the consortium of companies that have identified the KNX / EIB standard communication protocol as being strategic in products ranging from communication gateways to complete catalogues of electronic products. The protocol is compliant with international home and building automation standards and is used above all for managing lights and motors and controlling temperature, however it is very extensively used and is amply documented.
