The ASTREL Water division
has been European market leader since the 1990s and is the ideal partner for all wellness automation requirements: whirlpool tubs, pools, steam baths and saunas, for both public and private use.
ASTREL is indeed the
major European supplier of controllers for spas and mini pools, a market in which it sells directly to all leading manufacturers. The division also represents a qualified partner for electronics in the beauty, fitness and biomedical sectors, where it provides partners custom solutions for various different types of application.
Design and manufacturing are completely managed at the company’s facilities in Italy, a structure that employs more than eighty people. The products manufactured by this division systematically undergo conformity tests in accordance with relevant standards in force, either at the
accredited in-house lab or qualified outside labs. In-circuit and functional testing are performed on every product made. The division offers the market
standard solutions that can be customised upon request. To respond to special requirements, the division can assist its partners through every stage of product development, providing all its expertise in research and development, design, industrialisation, certification and production.

Customisation
The Water division offers partners an excellent product customisation service for technical, functional or simply aesthetic requirements, at competitive prices. It supports partners in choosing the best solutions, both technically and in relation to industrialisation.
Technical consulting
The Water division assists partners in implementing electronics inside their products, offering consulting in all stages of product research and development, industrialisation, certification and production.
Technological scouting
The Water division offers the skills of its R&D department and its network of contacts to help partners identify innovative technological solutions for their products, in order to satisfy new market requirements or develop special, custom products.
Approval and certification marks
The Water division performs pre-compliance testing on all its products in accordance with the relevant directives for CE marking (EMC: 2004/108/EC; LVD: 2006/95/EC; RoHS: 2002/95/EC). Products are designed in compliance with EN 60335-1 on electrical safety, and part 2 of the same standard for particular requirements relating to individual applications. Partners are supported throughout all stages of product certification, receiving all required documents and approval of components. Where necessary, the division can provide reports on the tests carried out by the
in-house lab during the
pre-compliance stage, as well as any test reports from certified outside labs.
